About the team

You join our Business Development team, split between Berlin and Arnhem, where we work closely with Sales, Product and Operations to identify new opportunities and build strong partnerships across Europe. The team focuses on market growth, client needs and strategic collaboration that helps scale our smart charging services.

  • Salary range: between €60.000,- and €80.000 on an annual basis

About the job

As Business Developer you turn new market opportunities into concrete commercial impact. You build strong relationships with energy suppliers, CPOs, OEMs and other key players, creating value propositions and business cases that support long term partnerships. You enjoy discovering new opportunities, guiding deals from first contact to signature and ensuring they align with our technical and operational capabilities.

  • Identify and prioritise market opportunities in the European energy and mobility landscape

  • Build partnerships with utilities, energy suppliers, CPOs, OEMs and grid operators

  • Create and pitch compelling propositions to senior stakeholders

  • Develop strong business cases and negotiate high impact agreements

  • Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and measurable outcomes

About you

You enjoy building relationships, exploring new opportunities and creating clarity in a fast growing environment. You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and turning insights into direction. You think commercially, communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with teams across the business.

  • 2+ Experience in business development within energy, mobility, SaaS or another complex B2B landscape

  • Ability to identify opportunities and validate them with a structured approach

  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and building strong partnerships

  • Experience in creating business cases and negotiating agreements

  • A collaborative mindset with curiosity and commercial focus

Dependent on the role we do a quick introduction by phone to see if there's a match on the basics. After that you'll meet Michael, Business Development Manager. We'll tell you more about Deftpower, and we'd love to get to know you as a person. After that you'll work on a short case and show the case in a next interview with Jacob, our CEO.
