Business Execution Lead

At Deftpower we're looking for a Business Execution Lead to join our team.

Full-time · Arnhem

About Deftpower

Imagine a future where your car not only drives but also contributes to a smarter, more sustainable energy system and even generates income. At Deftpower, we make that future a reality!

With a team of 70 professionals, we are building Europe’s most advanced EV charging platform, connecting nearly one million electric vehicles with charging stations and the power grid for seamless integration.

Innovation and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do whether working with colleagues, customers, or partners. With trust and transparency, we team up with automakers, energy providers, and EV drivers to make charging faster, smarter, and more sustainable.

Your role

At Deftpower, we process high volumes of data and transactions across many markets and customers. Not everything runs always perfectly, and trust us, we know. You don’t need to point out what’s broken. What we’re looking for is someone who can spot which problems cost us the most, and gets energy from fixing them.

As Business Execution Lead, you make sure we’re in control and pave the way for future growth. You’ll dive deep into how processes work today, identify weak links and drive automation wherever possible. You love to bring structure into chaos and don’t mind solving complex and sometimes unglamorous problems, especially when they save us money or make us audit-ready.

You thrive in dynamic, international teams and enjoy collaborating across departments to enhance operational efficiencies. Your analytical skills and understanding of sales and customer success help you find what really improves customer experience and boosts revenue. You bring strong project- and team management capabilities, and you’re not afraid to take ownership of cross-functional initiatives that simplify, standardize, and scale our operations. If you're passionate about building better processes and creating real business impact, we’d love to meet you.

  • Improve the lead-to-cash process;

  • Spot and fix weak processes before they turn into financial loss;

  • Drive automation and simplification of workflows;

  • Ensure transactional data is correct, timely, and complete;

  • Support regular periodic reporting to management and investors;

  • Support the (financial) audits performed by external auditors;

About you

You’re someone who thrives on fixing broken things, not by patching symptoms, but by solving root causes. You enjoy complexity, know how to bring structure to chaos, and have a natural drive to optimize. You get a kick out of making processes lean, automated, and audit-proof. When things go sideways (and they will), you stay calm, keep your eye on the goal.

At Deftpower, we move fast, and we value progress over perfection, as long as what we ship is high-quality, thoughtful, and adds real value. You're not afraid to take ownership, align stakeholders, and dig deep into data to unlock insights. You combine financial awareness with a deep interest in operational systems, and you know that at scale, with millions of transactions per quarter, even small inefficiencies become expensive.

  • Experience improving business-critical processes, for example lead-to-cash, sales operations, ERP, or internal control;

  • A self-starting, assertive mindset with a high standard for quality and accuracy;

  • Proven ability to automate, document, and simplify complex workflows;

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large volumes of transactional data;

  • Experience in or affinity with finance, accounting, or revenue operations;

  • Bonus: experience managing cross-functional projects or working in scale-ups with fast growth and big data.

Benefits

This role is tailor-made for problem solvers who thrive on turning complexity into clarity and love seeing the impact of their work every day. At Deftpower, you’ll join a rapidly scaling tech company where innovation isn’t just a buzzword, it’s how we stay ahead in a fast-moving, ever-changing market.

If you enjoy working hands-on in a dynamic environment that pushes boundaries and moves fast, this is your chance to help shape the future of electric mobility.

To strengthen our team spirit, we host quarterly Deftpower Days (D-Day), where our teams from Arnhem and Berlin come together for a great time. But that’s not all, you’ll also get:

  • Competitive salary between €5,500 and €7,500 a month;

  • Optional ESOP shares, so you can grow with the company;

  • Direct exposure to our partners and clients in energy, automotive, and finance;

  • A steep learning curve in a fast-growing company with plenty of development opportunities;

  • Trust and autonomy to shape your own strategy;

  • An inspiring workplace in Arnhem, at the heart of the energy transition.
