About the role

At Deftpower, you translate business goals directly into what the team builds. You're the link between strategy and sprint, working closely with Product Managers, other POs, sales and clients. We've recently introduced a new way of working with dedicated Product Managers, and you'll be a core part of shaping that model in practice. If you get energy from building something new rather than following an established playbook, you'll fit right in.

You own the portal domain. You make sure UX doesn't get constrained by backend decisions made upstream. You do that by being in the room early, not fixing things after the fact.

  • Translate client needs and business priorities into a clear roadmap and actionable PBIs

  • Align proactively with other PO's so backend implementation doesn't limit portal UX

  • Set priorities together with the team across new features, tech improvements, and bug fixes

  • Monitor KPI's and steer based on data

  • Keep stakeholders informed

About you

We’re looking for a Product Owner who can keep an overview in a complex technical environment. You can present well and take people along in a clear story, connecting business goals to the work you do. We would love to hear stories about your previous projects and how you made an impact!

  • You have proven experience as a PO in a tech environment and are equally comfortable in a strategic conversation with sales as in a refinement with engineers.

  • You have a sharp eye for UX, understand how frontend and backend influence each other, and make decisions quickly.

  • You have proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment, preferably in EV or energy.

  • You are analytical, decisive, and thrive in a fast-growing, innovative environment.

  • You speak fluent English, and preferably also Dutch.

  • Salary range: Between €5000,- and €6800,- a month

  • €2.000 training budget per year to keep learning and growing.

  • Choose your own laptop to work with, up to €1.750.
