About the team

You work directly with the CEO and closely with the executive and leadership teams. This role connects C-level leaders, Team Leads, Product Owners, Finance and HR. You operate across the full organisation and have visibility into all strategic and sensitive topics while Deftpower continues to scale.

About the job

As Chief of Staff, you work closely with the CEO to support decision making and organisational alignment. You help structure complex topics, bring the right context together and ensure leadership discussions are focused and well prepared. Your contribution helps the organisation move faster while staying aligned as complexity increases.

You prepare strategic and operational topics by collecting and structuring input from across the organisation, outlining options, risks and dependencies and ensuring decisions translate into clear follow up. You help maintain a steady leadership rhythm, support coordination across teams and handle sensitive topics with care and discretion.

  • Prepare decision documents, meeting agendas and background materials for leadership discussions

  • Collect, structure and synthesise input from teams to support strategic and operational choices

  • Outline scenarios, risks and dependencies to improve the quality of decision making

  • Document decisions, agreements and next steps and help ensure follow up is visible

  • Track progress of key initiatives and signal delays, risks or misalignment early

  • Support preparation of board materials, investor updates and strategic briefings

  • Help maintain clear leadership processes, planning cycles and communication structures

  • Salary range: between €6.000,- and €7.400,- a month

About you

You operate comfortably at strategic level and understand organisational complexity. You are analytical, discreet and diplomatic, and you work easily with different personalities in senior settings. You bring structure, judgement and calm in environments where information is sensitive and priorities shift.

  • 8+ years of experience in senior advisory, strategy, chief of staff or similar roles

  • High level of discretion, integrity and political sensitivity

  • Comfortable in fast growing, changing (SaaS) organisations

  • Clear communicator with a natural, approachable presence

Dependent on the role we do a quick introduction by phone to see if there's a match on the basics. After that you'll meet Jacob, our CEO. We'll tell you more about Deftpower, and we'd love to get to know you as a person. The next interview will be with one of Marc, our COO. If the match is good, you will be introduced to the entire management team. This will be followed by an offer.
