About the team
The Sales team at Deftpower sits at the heart of our commercial growth. Led by the Head of Sales, Lucas, the team works closely with Business Development, Marketing and Customer Engagement to turn complex eMobility challenges into long term client partnerships. There are around 10 people working in this team.
We operate in an international B2B environment where every deal is different. As a white label platform, our success depends on deeply understanding our clients’ business models and helping them succeed in their own markets. That means sales at Deftpower is consultative, content driven and highly collaborative. Trust, clarity and long term value always come before short term wins.

About the job
We are hiring two Sales Professionals. One focused on the Benelux market, based near Arnhem. One focused on the Dach region, based in Berlin.
You own deals in your region from the first meaningful conversation to a signed contract and a clear handover into onboarding. You decide which leads are worth pursuing, ask the hard questions early and shape a commercial approach that fits both the client and Deftpower.
You translate complex client questions into sharp proposals, tenders and business cases that people actually use. You combine numbers, assumptions and a clear narrative to align commercial, technical and operational stakeholders and help them make confident decisions.
You sell by explaining, not by pushing. In conversations and pitches you clearly explain what Deftpower solves, why it matters for that specific client and when we are not the right fit. That honesty is how you build trust and long term partnerships.
You stay involved after the signature. Together with the Onboarding Manager and delivery teams you make sure expectations are realistic, scope is clear and projects can start strong.

This role comes with a lot of time on the road. You visit clients, attend industry events and trade fairs across your region and Europe. Every quarter we bring everyone together in Arnhem for our Deftpower D Day. A full day with all colleagues, followed by good food, drinks and the kind of legendary stories and jokes you only get in a sales team that knows each other well.
Salary range between €70.000 and €80.000 per year, depending on experience.

About you
This role is for people who like responsibility, enjoy working across disciplines and want to help shape how Deftpower grows across Europe. You have space to influence how we sell, how we position our value and how we build sustainable, long term relationships in a fast growing and evolving market.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a commercial role and feel comfortable owning complex sales processes, preferably in a technical, SaaS or energy related environment. Strong knowledge of the energy market or eMobility is required. Experience with SaaS is a plus.
You enjoy working across teams and know how to align different perspectives. You can explain complex products in a way that makes sense to different audiences and stakeholders.
You are fluent in English. For the Benelux role you speak Dutch. For the Dach role you speak German.
You are based near Arnhem for Benelux or in Berlin for Dach and are willing to work from the office at least two days per week. You have a valid work visa for the Netherlands or Germany.

After you apply, Lucas, our Head of Sales, will review your profile. If your experience matches what we are looking for, he will reach out for an introduction. In this first conversation we explore the basics. Your experience, your motivation and whether there is a potential match on both sides.
If that conversation is positive, you will work on a short assessment. You will present this to part of the team, including our CCO, Nicholas Laane. During this meeting you will also get the chance to meet several people you would be working with. If timing allows, we will make sure you meet the wider team as well.
